She has written reports for both Claimants and Defendants, and has had experience of giving evidence in Court. An appointment can normally be offered within two weeks of receipt of instructions. Occupational Health assessments are also available (info). Career background :- After qualification, Dr Ward worked in the NHS, rising to Consultant grade. She left the NHS to set up in full-time private practice, and is now in full time independent private practice as a Clinical Psychologist. She is Co-Director of the Wharfedale Psychology and Psychotherapy Practice in Otley, and sees adults for therapy, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, etc. Therapy is available for claimants assessed by other psychologists and needing treatment following personal injury (therapy rooms are located at the Practice office in Otley). Dr Ward also covers large areas of northern England, and, in addition to Otley, can also see clients at consulting rooms in Manchester (M3), Harrogate (HG1), Doncaster (DN2), Barrowford (BB9), Kendal (LA9), Scunthorpe (DN16) and Cleckheaton (BD19). Home visits are also available on request. Dr Sally Ward has been Bond Solon trained and is listed in the 'Directory of Expert Witnesses' which is maintained by the British Psychological Society, the representative and regulatory body for psychologists in the UK (see link, below).
