Career background and experience :-
Clinical neuropsychology - 2 years' specialist postgraduate
training in clinical neuropsychology. Extensive experience in
preparation of detailed, psychometrically sound reports on
sequelae of acquired brain injury. Reports include qualitative
and quantitative evidence of the cognitive, emotional and
behavioural consequences of brain damage. Mechanisms
of injury. Prognosis in terms of recovery, return to employment
and psycho-social functioning. Experienced in delineating
the consequences of head injury, minor head injury, epilepsy,
alcohol-related brain damage, dementia, neurological disease.
Consultant Neuropsychologist since 1988. Head of Department
of Clinical Neuropsychology, North Bristol NHS Trust (1996-2001).
