Background career information :-
Eddie Chaloner graduated from Oxford University Medical School
in 1989 and trained in Surgery in London and South Africa. He has
served abroad with the British Army in Rwanda, Bosnia and Kosovo
and worked with the charities Medecins Sans Frontieres and the
HALO Trust in many other conflict areas. He became a Consultant
Vascular and General Surgeon at University College NHS Trust,
London, in 2001, and Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Lewisham
University Hospital, London, in 2005. He is also Hororary Senior
Lecturer at the Department of Surgery, University College London.

NB (1) : Mr Chaloner has been trained in the legal aspects of report
writing and in giving of evidence in court. He is currently undergoing
formal expert witness training on the Bond Solon/Cardiff University
course leading to the grant of the Cardiff University Expert Witness
Certificate (CUEW).

He is fully conversant with the Civil Procedure Rules and is happy
to be instructed as a Single Joint Expert. He undertakes work on
behalf of both claimants and defendants (approx 70:30 ratio).

written instruction and reports are normally delivered within 14 days
following interview (assuming all case details have been received
and no further tests or investigations are required).
