Roger Goulden has immense experience of clinical dentistry, having been in general practice since 1965. Since qualification he has undergone extensive continuing education, attaining higher qualifications in Restorative Dentistry and General Practice. He is a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, having been accredited to the the Specialist List by the General Dental Council in January 1999 He has also followed a part time teaching career, having been employed since 1978 by London University to teach undergraduates at Guy's Hospital and King's College Dental School. Since 2004, he has been a course tutor in implant dentistry at the University of Warwick, and in 2006 he was appointed Associate Professor in Implant Dentistry at that University (web site). He has also had a postgraduate teaching commitment, providing courses, lectures, videos and articles for practising dentists and lawyers. From 1985 to 1991 he was Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, assessing dentists presenting for the MGDS diploma, the highest qualification available in General Dental Practice.
