MEDICO-LEGAL PRACTICE
|
|
I have established a personal injury, medical negligence
and criminal expert witness practice since my
appointment as a Consultant in 1992.
|
|
PERSONAL INJURY CASES
|
|
I provide reports to both plaintiffs and defendants in
personal injury cases, with particular reference to
whiplash injuries, soft tissue injuries and hand injuries,
receiving about 250 new instructions a year.
|
|
MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE CASES
|
|
I provide liability reports on medical negligence cases
resulting from care in the Accident & Emergency
Department.
|
|
CRIMINAL CASES
|
|
I also have an interest in the causation of wounds and
have given expert evidence in criminal cases on the
causation of injuries.
I have received training in both report writing and
appearing in court.
I am a member of the Academy of Experts and also of
the Expert Witness Institute.
