Dr Bashir Qureshi is a widely acknowledged Expert Witness in
the developing field of Transcultural and Transreligious Medicine -
and the related issues which arise in the course of civil and criminal
litigation. He has a wide knowledge of different cultures, religions
and ethnic and racial issues - in particular, in relation to the Pakistani
and Indian sub-cultures, and in Islamic, Christian, Hindu and Sikh
religious customs. 40 years' experience as a London-based GP.

Dr Qureshi is author of 'Transcultural Medicine - Dealing with Patients
from different Cultures, Religions and Ethnicities' (3rd Edition, 2005) -
an overview of all cultures, religions or non-religious persuasions
and ethnicities, in relation to medical needs, legal positions, political
dimensions and economic considerations.

Both civil and criminal cases are undertaken and a free initial
